Games, Salmon and the Soul

The US, and many other places in the world have been sucking workers out of agriculture and putting them into cities for a good 200 years now. Despite record investment; oil production has been falling world wide since 2008. In the long run we need to be putting people back into agriculture; why not legislate to make it easier for young people to return to simpler ways of life whilst developing a new, renewable low carbon kind of organic agriculture? Permaculture, (working with nature instead of against it) Is highly skilled work and should be the basis of all sustainable economies. America's Roosevelt in 1937 said "The Nation That Destroys It's Soils Destroys Itself". Much of the soil is dead and only works because of oil, which, like I said is in decline. That's my solution anyhow!
